INTER HOUSE SPORTS MEET -2016
The annual inter house sports meet of Jeelan College in Panadura, was held at the Jeelan Central College playground on 27th to 30th of January 2016. The meet witnessed the participation of over 1500 students in nearly 50 track and field events over two days of intense competition. Al-Haj M.A.M.Saheer , Principal of the WP/KL/Jeelan Central College, Panadura, was the Chief Guest at the colorful closing ceremony held on 30th of January 2016.
The ceremony commenced with a Drill Display performed by the students of year 7 and 8. This was followed by a March Past of the senior students which was breathtaking to watch. The Chief Guest highlighted the importance of engaging in sports and the impact it has on developing character and personality. Izzath House became the winning house for the second consecutive year while Rahmath House was the runner up and Zeenath House was the 3rd place.
